The ICC on Tuesday announced the schedule of the Champions Trophy 2025. This tournament will not only be exciting for cricket lovers, but it will also be a big cricket team to be held in Pakistan after a long time.
A total of 15 matches will be played in the tournament between eight teams. These matches will be held at various venues in Pakistan and Dubai. Three grounds in Pakistan – Rawalpindi, Lahore, and Karachi – will host these matches. There will be three group matches at each ground, and Lahore will host the second semi-final. The much-awaited match between India and Pakistan will be held on February 23.
Reserve day for semi-finals and final
Reserve day was also kept for the semi-finals and final of the tournament. And if the Indian team did not reach the final match, then the final match would be held in Lahore on March 9. And but if the Indian team reaches the final, then this match will be held in Dubai.
Indian team schedule
The Indian team will play its three group matches and the first semi-final in Dubai. Pakistan will start its campaign with the opening match of Group A against New Zealand in Karachi on February 19. The Dubai phase will begin the next day, i.e. on February 20, with the match between India and Bangladesh.
The event will not only witness exciting matches but will also prove to be a memorable tournament for sports lovers.
