This incident happened on the railway track of Unjh police station area, where the woman committed suicide by jumping in front of the Bapu Dham Express going from Muzaffarpur city to Prayagraj. Both mother and daughter left this world.

Police station in-charge Ramakant Yadav said that the woman reached the railway track behind Unjha police station with her two-year-old daughter in her lap and jumped in front of the train. The two had been fighting for several days. In the preliminary investigation, domestic dispute and quarrel with the husband are believed to be the reason for suicide. The police have taken both the bodies into custody and sent them for post-mortem and are investigating the case.

The police station in-charge said that detailed information about the incident is being collected by contacting the woman’s family. At present, the case is being investigated in depth. And the accused has been arrested and is being questioned.

Allegedly, his wife Lakshmi Devi also wanted to go with him. There was some quarrel between the two over this. Angered by this, Lakshmi left for her maternal home with her two-year-old daughter Riyashi. When her husband called and asked where she was going, she told him that she was going to die by getting hit by a train at Suriyava station.
