Burden of pending bills of BJP government
Speaking to the media in Bengaluru, Dr. Parameshwar Nath Ji has told that the previous BJP government has left more bills worth crores of rupees. Presently, the Congress government had to pay those bills, which increased the financial pressure on the Congress government. And apart from this, there was an additional expenditure of Rs 56,000 crore per year on the government for these schemes. Despite this, he has clarified that these schemes will not be withdrawn. More schemes will also be run.
Home Minister Parameshwara gives clarity Reaction to Gaviyappa’s comment
Reacting to the comment of Congress MLA Gaviyappa, Karnataka Home Minister Dr. Parameshwar Nath ji has said that it is not wrong to ask for grants for the constituency. Because he had also talked about asking for grants for his constituency. But he has insisted that implementing these schemes was a deliberate decision of the government.
Defending guarantee schemes
Karnataka Home Minister Dr. Parameshwar Nath said that these schemes were announced in the Congress manifesto ahead of the 2023 assembly elections. He said that a section of people have voted for us believing in these promises. Therefore, it is our responsibility to implement these schemes and we cannot back down from it.
Investigation continues on Bhovi Nigam scam
On the alleged scam in Bhovi Nigam, he has said that the investigation process is still going on. At this time I cannot say much as we have to wait for the investigation report.
Cabinet reshuffle considered
On the rumours of cabinet reshuffle, Karnataka Home Minister Dr. Parameshwar Nath ji said that this decision will be taken by the Chief Minister. And he told that usually the Chief Minister discusses with the KPCC President and later it is placed before the Congress high command.
Cooperation expected from the Center
The Home Minister of Karnataka has also expressed his concern over Karnataka not getting proper assistance from the central government. He has said that the cooperation of the central government is essential for the development of the state and these schemes.
