Akhilesh Yadav’s political move: Know the maths of 9 important seats in UP By-elections are going to be held on 9 assembly seats in Uttar Pradesh on November 20. It is being considered as the semi-final of the 2027 assembly elections. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and SP chief Akhilesh Yadav have put all their strength in these elections.
Which seats will have elections?
Voting will be held in Kundarki, Meerapur, Ghaziabad, Phulpur, Katehari, Majhwa, Khair, Sisamau, and Karhal. SP, BJP and BSP have fielded candidates as per their strategy.
SP’s strategy on important seats:
Meerapur seat
Jayant Chaudhary and Akhilesh Yadav did a road show here. The candidate of Azad Samaj Party has made the contest interesting.
Sisamau seat
SP has emphasized on door-to-door campaign and road show. BJP has also put electoral force here with its strategy.
Karhal seat
Here is a Yadav vs Yadav contest. SP has fielded Tej Pratap Yadav, while BJP has fielded Akhilesh Yadav’s brother-in-law Anuj Yadav.
Katehari seat
BJP has not been able to win this seat since 1991. This seat has been going between SP and BSP alternately.
Majhwa seat
SP has put all its strength on this seat for the first time. Akhilesh Yadav himself is busy making strategy here.
What do the equations say?
There is a tough competition between SP, BJP and BSP on these seats. It has to be seen to what extent Akhilesh Yadav’s strategy is successful and whether BJP is able to improve its performance.
