Khargone and Guna road accidents: Workers and officers injured, major accident averted. Several people were injured in two separate road accidents in Khargone and Guna in Madhya Pradesh on Wednesday. These accidents have raised concerns about road safety and vehicle conditions.
Khargone and Guna road accidents pickup vehicle overturned at Jamgate Ghat
A pickup vehicle went out of control and overturned at Jamgate Ghat in Khargone on Wednesday night. There were 40 labourers in that vehicle, out of which about 27 labourers were injured. This accident happened at around 8 pm. Due to the failure of the brakes of the vehicle, the driver hit the railing to save the vehicle from falling into the ditch. Due to this the vehicle overturned and some people were injured but everyone was saved from death.
SP played an important role
Khargone SP Dharmaraj Meena reached the spot as soon as he got information about the accident. He asked to immediately take the injured to the hospital. And also asked to arrange emergency services as soon as possible. He himself came forward to take two seriously injured women in his car to the hospital. Six ambulances were called on the spot, and all the injured were admitted to Mandleshwar Hospital as soon as possible.
Truck collided with Naib Tehsildar’s car
A very serious road accident took place in the Cantt police station area of Guna district. On Wednesday evening, a truck loaded with grains collided with the car of Naib Tehsildar Anurag Jain and overturned on it. The Naib Tehsildar, Revenue Inspector Kuldeep Gupta and Patwari Mahendra Raghuvanshi riding in the car were injured. And they were admitted to the hospital as soon as possible.
Naib Tehsildar admitted to ICU
After the incident, Naib Tehsildar Anurag Jain was admitted to the ICU due to serious injuries. And other injured were also sent to the hospital for treatment. This accident happened when the officials were returning from Pagara to Guna after resolving a land dispute.
Road safety challenge
Both the incidents show that both the condition of the vehicle on the road and the alertness of the driver are very important. The big lesson from these accidents is that regular checking of the technical condition of the vehicle and following road safety rules is very important
The government and local administration should learn from these accidents and take strict measures for road safety so that such accidents do not happen in future.
