India’s biggest badminton star and double Olympic medallist PV Sindhu is all set to tie the knot later this month. On December 22, she will marry Venkat Datta Sai, a senior IT professional. Sindhu’s father PV Ramana confirmed the wedding, saying that both families have finalised the date, and the wedding ceremony will be held on December 22. Following this, there will be a reception in Hyderabad on December 24.

Who is Venkat Datta Sai?

Venkat Datta Sai is the executive director of Posidex Technologies. The company specialises in developing technology solutions and products, and they launched their new logo last month, which was unveiled by PV Sindhu.

Sai’s father GT Venkateswara Rao was a prestigious Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officer. Sai’s education and work experience are also impressive. He did a diploma in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Foundation of Liberal and Management Education and then obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree from Flame University, in which he specialized in accounting and finance. After this, Sai did a master’s degree in Data Science and Machine Learning from International Institute of Information Technology, Bangalore.

Career Start

Venkat Dutta Sai joined Posidex Technologies in 2019. Prior to that, he also worked as Managing Director in companies like JSW and Sour Apple Asset Management. His LinkedIn profile states that Sai has developed his proprietary solutions to solve some of the most complex problems, which are used by leading banks in India like HDFC and ICICI.
