The Masked Singer: Ice King’s Unmasking and the Celebrity Behind the Mask. Drake Bell got a little serious on Wednesday night’s episode of “The Masked Singer,” and he shared his experience facing a media siege earlier this year. Before being unmasked, he expressed his personal thoughts in a voice-over package.

Beginning his performance as the Ice King, Bell said, “I finally felt I was ready to tell the world my truth. And I did. Then immediately regretted it. I thought my words would be spread everywhere, and I was completely terrified. I begged them to take down my story. But, that power was out of my control. That night when the news came out, I was completely devastated. Shocked.” He further added, “But when I saw how many people could connect with it, I felt like the burden was lightened. Now my story is out in the open, and I don’t expect everyone to understand me. I have worked hard to close the chapter I wanted the most. Thank you to those who stood by me. Their support makes me feel like the sky.”

Bell was referring to the documentary series in which he shared his story of sexual abuse, which was released under the name “Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV”. In this series, Bell revealed his suffering during the Nickelodeon show “Drake and Josh”.

Currently Bell is on a nationwide tour to perform his music, including a show in Los Angeles. Last time he appeared as Baby Alien in the Mexican version of “The Masked Singer”.

Bell told that the reason behind joining “The Masked Singer” was that he wanted to do something new and fun. “I’m always performing, but I thought this time I’d do something different and have some fun. I thought dressing up in a weird costume and singing songs I don’t normally sing, and learning choreography would make the show even more special.”

The following week, Bell had intended to sing “Burning Love”, but ended the show singing Miley Cyrus’ “Midnight Sky”.

This episode of “The Masked Singer” featured various celebrity contestants performing, including characters such as the Ice King, Bluebell, Chase Piece and Strawberry Shortcake. The show also had “Miley Cyrus Night”, where the panelists joked about Miley Cyrus’ music.

Along with Bell as the “Ice King”, several other celebrities were unmasked this season, such as Bethany Hamilton (Macaron), Natalie Imbruglia (Bluebell), Laverne Cox (Chase Piece), Andy Richter (Dusty Bunny), etc. The panel also featured Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg, Ken Jeong, and Robin Thicke, and host Nick Cannon emceed the show.

This season of “The Masked Singer” will feature several interesting themes and celebrity additions, including a Miley Cyrus tribute episode, “Sports Night,” and “60s Night.”
