Mark Ballas and Derek Hough perform a special tango
DWTS returns to the ballroom:
Former ‘Dancing with the Stars’ professional Mark Ballas, who appeared as a guest judge in the fourth week of the season, returned to the ballroom for the finale. He performed a special tango routine with longtime friend and show judge Derek Hough.
Rehearsal sneak peek
The official Instagram account of DWTS shared a photo of their rehearsal, which showed Ballas and Hough standing face-to-face on a smoke-filled set in the ballroom. The performance left the audience spellbound. And they had a lot of fun watching it.
Other Season 33 Highlights
Xochitl Gomez and Val Chmerkovskiy Return
Season 32 winner Xochitl Gomez returned to the ballroom for the finale to perform “Pink Pony Club” with Val Chmerkovskiy. This was Val’s third win on DWTS, adding to her impressive career. And her life was about to take a new turn after this win.
Anna Delvey’s Controversial Statement
After being eliminated from the competition, Anna Delvey remained tight-lipped about her experience on the show. The statement went viral, and judge Carrie Ann Inaba expressed her disappointment. Delvey later said on a podcast that her statement was true and was only said as a joke.
